1. What was the first physical album you ever bought?▼ ▲
JJ Lin's “Hundred days” (第幾個一百天).
2. Which singer has had the biggest influence throughout your entire youth?▼ ▲
JJ Lin. I've liked him since elementary school, and even now he continues to release albums and singles, as well as perform cover songs on various music shows. His versatile musical style and the memories tied to his songs from different periods have accompanied me throughout my entire youth.
3. What is your most memorable singing experience? What happened at the time?▼ ▲
It was a singing competition I participated in in 2024. It was the first time I performed rap in a competition, and also my first time using a rap style while singing in a public performance.
4. Do you have any warm-up routines or little rituals before singing/performing?▼ ▲
I usually do some physical warm-up exercises before singing. Getting my body warmed up helps me open up my voice.
5. Which song have you played on repeat the most in your headphones?▼ ▲
“Dust and Ashes” (願與愁) by JJ Lin.
6. What is your favourite lyric? Why?▼ ▲
One of my favorite lines is from “Dust and Ashes” (願與愁): “Time is counting down, and you're by my side. I wish I could shatter the hourglass, but as long as we can exist in the same universe at the same time, I don’t ask for anything more.” (時間在倒數你在左右,多想踩碎沙漏,但能同時在同個宇宙 就不求滯留).
It gives me a sense of acceptance and cherishing the present—reminding me to value the moments we have, even if time keeps moving forward.
7. If you had to use one song to sum up your past year, which would you choose?▼ ▲
I would choose “Resurgence” (進階) by JJ Lin. Over the past year, both my overall life and the things I'm passionate about—like singing, golf, and badminton—have improved a lot. I feel like I've reached a more advanced level and gained a deeper understanding in many areas.
